Born in Vigo / Spain, Vidal ''Angel'' Giraldez is probably one of the best and most famous European artists in the world of tabletop. After his training as a lathe operator, he turned his hobby into profession, focused on the artistic design of game miniatures and is working since 2003 for a Spanish manufacturer of tabletop games.
Initially, only with paint-brushes, he is also painting with airbrushes under the name Angel Giraldez miniatures in 28 mm scale since 2007.
In 2014 he won the first prize at ''Beasts of War'' in the category best paint job.
Besides numerous commission paint jobs as part of his own painting service ''Angel GiraldeZ'' he published his first workbook ''Painting miniatures from A to Z - Masterclass Volume 1'' at the beginning 2015, whose run of 15.000 copies has been sold out within a few days.
