Painting and drawing has Peer Elshoff done since the age of 5.
His artistic career began in 1985 with an airbrush and a DIY compressor. But right after the first steps he quickly realizes that art - and Airbrush in specific - is not merely remain a hobby for him.
Peer Elshoff graduates from the Technical School of Arts, Design and Architecture in Kiel in 1992 and is professionally engaged as an airbrush artist since 1998. He demonstrates his skills on national and international exhibitions, as well as for special events, such as a live body painting performance in front of 4.500 spectators at the premiere of the movie ''Fast & Furious Five'' in Cologne. In addition, also because of the numerous commissioned works, you can certainly argue that there is hardly nothing that Peer Elshoff has not painted yet: from fingernails to factory walls and skateboards, up to helicopters ... Stop! Helicopters? Seriously?
Yes, three Sikorsky Sea King of the German Navy and the Air Force Bell UH-1D flew their missions for some years with special finish by Peer Elshoff.
